UMC softball battles UND on Oct. 12 in 100-inning fundraiser (Crookston Daily Times)
The University of Minnesota, Crookston Women's Softball team travels to Grand Forks, N.D. on Sunday, October 12 to play Division I University of North Dakota in a 100-Inning Fundraiser at Apollo Field. The event is scheduled to begin at 10 a.m. and the public is invited to attend.

Cairo wins D11 softball title (Moberly Monitor-Index)
Cairo’s softball team took its first step Friday toward their bid to defend its Class 1 state championship. The Lady ‘Cats built an early lead then erupted to score seven runs in the bottom of the sixth inning and finished off Sturgeon by an 11-2 score to win the District 11 tournament hosted at Sturgeon.
