Jamestown to host Regional Figure Skating Championships (Warren Times Observer)

Fundraiser for roller skating champion planned (Whitman Times)
An exhibition fundraiser for Joseph Farias III  will be held at  Carousel Family Fun Center and Roller Skating Rink, 4 David Drown Blvd., in Fairhaven on Oct. 27 from 6-9 p.m. Farias is a national roller-skating champion who teaches at Carousel Family Fun Center is bound for Kaohsiung, Taiwan, next month for the world championships.
