Mendon Ponds park hosts youth orienteering (Rochester Democrat and Chronicle)
Equipped with a compass, a multi-colored map, a device known as the dibbler and a desire to challenge the woods at Mendon Ponds Park, the youths with the Rochester Orienteering Club set out on a Sunday afternoon in search of seven checkpoints.

Orienteering: Hauskens won again (The Norway Post)
Norway's Anne Margrethe Hausken won the women's final sprint in the Orienteering World Cup in Switzerland on Sunday. Finland's Minna Kauppi placed second, and Denmark's Signe Soes third.

Scots top the lot in Ireland (Borders Today)
