Council squashes disc golf in Upper Bidwell Park (Orion)
Disc golf enthusiasts still drive to Upper Bidwell Park to chuck Frisbees around and take in the scenery, although the sport was banned there. The City Council voted 4-3 to remove disc golf from the Highway 32 location Nov. 18. The decision led to immediate boos and outbursts from the crowd, as well as verbal confrontations on the steps of City Hall.

Disc golf offers new fun at Old City Park New city course slated for completion this winter (The Moab Times-Independent)
With 18 holes installed just east of Old City Park, the Moab City Recreation Department is almost ready for the grand opening of its latest sports facility, which is already open for play. As soon as benches and tee boxes are installed, the new Disc Golf Course will be ready for tournament play.
