Updated 11/13: Glencoe native named college president in Texas (Glencoe News)
Dr. Marjorie Hass, provost of Muhlenberg College in Allentown, Pennsylvania, has been selected to serve as the fifteenth president of Austin College. She will begin her duties on July 1, 2009. Hass is a Glencoe native and went to New Trier High School.

Austin College names new president (The Herald Democrat)
The search for a new president at Austin College ended Saturday with the announcement of the 15th person, and first woman, to fill the position. Marjorie Hass, 43, brought her family to the campus Saturday to share in the announcement.
