UNL scholarships to be made 424 compliant (Daily Nebraskan)
The University of Nebraska is carefully reviewing its diversity programs to make sure they do not violate Initiative 424, an affirmative action ban. Initiative 424 will change the Nebraska Constitution to ban the use of gender and racial preferences in admissions, scholarships and public hiring. In November, 58 percent of Nebraska voters approved the affirmative action ban.
