Garmin 'Working Diligently' On XM WX Portables Outage (The Aero-News Network)
Problem Seems To Be Affecting Garmin Portables, Primarily ANN has been monitoring reports of problems with a number of the Garmin GPSMAP portable series. According to Garmin sources, device using GXM30/30A/40 antennas are currently having problems with receiving XM WX transmissions and the resultant display of that data.

More Upgrades For USCG HC-130Js (The Aero-News Network)
$13.25 Million Contract Options to Provide Mission Systems for the HC-130J Aircraft Lockheed Martin and the U.S. Coast Guard exercised contract options valued at $13.25 million to install mission systems aboard two additional HC-130J aircraft.
