Walkowiak leads UNK spikers past Mesa State (Grand Island Independent)
Sophomore middle hitter Jeri Walkowiak had a career-high 20 kills, and sophomore outside Chelsie Carson added 11, to help the 9th-ranked Nebraska-Kearney volleyball team beat Mesa State in four sets (25-16, 28-26, 24-26, 25-18) Friday night at the Health and Sports Center.

Morgan Stanley under pressure as deal date approaches (International Herald Tribune)
Much of the concern centered Morgan Stanley's deal to raise $9 billion from Mitsubishi UFJ of Japan.
