Council: Library to retain $1.6 million, publications (The Red and Black)
The University's main library will retain 15 percent - or $250,000 worth - of the $1.6 million originally slashed from its budget, an official said Thursday. "1,572 journals were targeted for cancellation, 80 percent of which were in sciences," University Council Executive Committee Chair Thomas Artelt said.
