Susan Borne and Joe Risteau, who teach in the Burnsville-Eagan-Savage district, will be honored as TIES 2008 Exceptional Teachers, an award that recognizes teachers who use technology to engage students in learning. Borne is a technology-education teacher at Metcalf Junior High in Burnsville, and Risteau is a fifth-grade teacher at Harriet Bishop Elementary in Savage.
