Bandar Seri Begawan - The police have shut down 55 various youth, welfare and sports associations in the country between March and November this year for failing to submit reports on their activities to the Registar of Societies (ROS).

Over 50 Associations Banned (BruDirect.com)
The Weekend Bulletin was informed that out of the 808 associations registered up till November 2008, 346 have been de-registered. Most of them (343) were de-registered for failing to submit their annual reports despite being reminded from time to time.

State Bar to Meet With Associations on ‘Find a Lawyer’ Service (Metropolitan News-Enterprise)
