S. Africa Stocks Update: All Share Rises 150.10 to 22,391.54 (Bloomberg)
Jan. 9 (Bloomberg) -- South Africa's benchmark stock index, the FTSE/JSE Africa All Share Index, rose 0.67 percent at 9:05 a.m. The index of 166 companies traded on Johannesburg's stock exchange rose 150.10 to 22,391.54. Among the stocks in the index, 25 rose, 13 fell and 128 were unchanged.

Travis AFB crews to fly two C-17s to Africa on humanitarian mission (The Reporter)
Travis Air Force Base crews will be flying two C-17 Globemaster IIIs to Africa on Saturday to support humanitarian aid operations in Darfur.Travis support is part of a larger United States effort at the request of the United Nations-African Union Mission in the Darfur region of Sudan and at the request of the United States Department of State and the United Nations.
