Digital TV switchover bill passes Senate (The West Australian)
Australian television will be entirely digital by late 2013 under draft laws passed by parliament's upper house. The bill, passed by the Senate on Wednesday, allows the federal government to switch off analog TV region-by-region, with the transition to digital to be complete by December 31, 2013.
