Yukon to host BMX finals (The Oklahoman)
YUKON — The 2008 Oklahoma BMX State Finals will be in Yukon at noon Sunday. Yukon will host the event for the fifth straight year at Taylor Park, 411 N 11, Yukon BMX organizer Bob Freels said. Spirit League to host Yukon walk to raise funds (The Oklahoman)

Missing pilot's body found in Yukon River (Kelowna Capital News)
The body of a Merritt pilot has been found, a week after the helicopter he was flying crashed into the Yukon River. Richard Wood's body was located on Friday but local Carmacks RCMP and search and rescue crews were unable to retrieve his body from the fast moving river until Saturday evening.
