Open zoo at Pinnawala (Sunday Observer)
The first open zoo in South East Asia is expected to be opened in Pinnawala, off Rambukkana, in the future. A sum of Rs. 80 million has already been allocated by the Ministry of Public Recreation and Sports to carry out some of the projects associated with this Pinnawala Open Zoo.
