YOU HAVEN'T LIVED HERE UNTIL ...: You've been to a poetry reading at the Museum of Contemporary Art Detroit (Detroit Free Press)
POETRY AS ART? Kind of. The museum hosts the "Woodward Line" poetry series, which showcases local wordsmiths. The next reading, features Hayan Charara, Christina Archer and Nandi Comer, is at 6 p.m. Dec. 17. Each of these MOCAD events is an opportunity to celebrate the written word, while surrounded by art that ranges from the avant-garde to the insouciant.
