Gymnastics practice mingles with holiday bazaar (Herald & Review)
DECATUR - A Decatur gymnastics facility opened its doors Saturday to vendors selling items that might make special holiday gifts. As gymnastics teams practiced, a holiday bazaar was held right alongside them at the Dynamite Gymnastics, 1630 E. Huston Drive.

2009 Women's Gymnastics Pre-Season Coaches Poll Released (Pac 10)
Five Pac-10 teams start the year with top 25 rankings. The UCLA gymnastics team will open the 2009 season ranked No. 4 in the preseason coaches poll. The Bruins collected four first-place votes, second-most amongst all schools. UCLA finished seventh overall at last year's NCAA Championships.

High School Gymnastics, Indoor Track Are in Jeopardy in Fairfax County (Washington Post)
Fairfax County high school gymnastics and indoor track could be eliminated when the 2010 budget is adopted in May as the school district copes with a $170 million shortfall. School officials say the measure would affect about 2,600 athletes and save the county an estimated $471,000.
