Midwives shortage 'serious'- report (Channel 4)
Britain is suffering from "a serious shortage of midwives", according to a new report. The Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) said maternity services, health authorities and the Department of Health must also act on the concerns about the quality of care provided to mothers and babies.
