Boynton Beach pub to host poker tournament to raise funds for cancer-stricken firefighter (Sun-Sentinel)
A pub is hosting a poker tournament to help a cancer-stricken firefighter raise money for his treatment. Slainte Irish Pub at Renaissance Commons, 1500 Gateway Blvd., is hosting the event at 4 p.m. Monday to help county Fire-Rescue Lt. Butch Smith, who suffers from multiple myeloma.
