Author, cartoonist gives story new life with CD (Gurnee Review)
It all began with a snow fall that looked like "snow seeds." Doug Ploss of Antioch used his children's description of that magical snowfall as a basis for a story called "The 'Tweens at Deep Lake. An accomplished artist." Ploss sketched an entire world of "tiny people living b'Tween us and nature." The story was featured in a weekly newspaper cartoon series and a book.
