Singapore Q2 Domestic, Foreign Wholesale Trade Rise (INO News)
(RTTNews) - Singapore's domestic wholesale trade increased 11.1% quarter-on-quarter in the second quarter, the Department of Statistics said Thursday. Excluding petroleum, sales increased 2.9%. On a seasonally adjusted basis, domestic wholesale sales increased 4.5% over the previous quarter.

Economist says Oregon in for shallow recession (AP via Yahoo! Finance)
An expert says Oregon is in for a long, "shallow" recession but recovery should begin by the second half of 2009. In his new quarterly forecast, State Economist Tom Potiowsky predicts the slowdown will mean a decrease of $120 million in state general fund revenue, or a drop of 1 percent from his previous forecast.
