NUJ lecture to commemorate journalism pioneer (holdthefrontpage.co.uk)
An annual lecture in recognition of a black journalism pioneer and the founder of the West Indian Gazette takes place this autumn. The Claudia Jones Memorial Lecture, run by the National Union of Journalists, is at City Hall, London, on October 10. The Gazette was the first black British paper.
