Former politician Samut dies at 77 (Bangkok Post - Thailand's English news)
Former deputy agriculture and cooperatives minister Samut Mongkolkiti died from a blood clot in his lung yesterday after receiving a back operation. He was 77. Samut served at the ministry in 1992 and was made deputy leader of the now-defunct Palang Dharma party in 1995.
