Comelec OKs creation of satellite offices for May 2010 registration (Manila Bulletin)
The Commission on Elections (Comelec) has authorized its election officers in 118 cities and 1,500 municipalities all over the country to set up, if necessary, satellite offices to cope with the heavy influx of registrants for the May 10, 2010 elections when the listing of new voters as well as of old voters but still unregistered resumes on Dec. 2 under Republic Act (RA) 8189.
