Party people head downtown to celebrate new year (Naples Daily News)
Historic downtown Naples was a mob scene Wednesday night as thousands of revelers descended upon Third Street South to ring in the new year with live music, fine cuisine and, of course, plenty of libations. This being Naples, the wine was flowing like beer as partiers said “goodbye” to 2008 and “hello” to 2009.
